HCMS FITNESS FESTIVAL

The HCMS FITNESS FESTIVAL is a full-day event for all HCMS students. The festival's goal is to educate students, staff, and families about healthy choices concerning fitness, nutrition, and wellness.
Over thirty speakers will be presenting a wide variety of topics. Students are responsible for signing up for four sessions, one from each category and a fourth session of their choice.
The festival will kick off with a keynote presentation by Mike Rosenthal.

Mike and Lindsay Rosenthal
During his nine-year playing career in the National Football League, Mike Rosenthal called places like Giants Stadium and the Metro Dome home. Now, Mike calls Austin High School home as a previous teacher and now head coach.
Lindsay Rosenthal, a volleyball allstar, graduated Austin High School were she received many distinctions . She won a volleyball State Championship, was named Fab 50 High school Volleyball All-Star American, then went on to play for Notre Dame. There she was a 4 year starter, captain and All-Big East Performer, she then went on to graduate from Seton Hall Law School.
